Australia: I have been annoying
my Bass for many years.I couldn't afford a 5 string so I did away with
my G,lowered them all down a space ,went and bought a B and wacked it on
the top. It's been working fine for a year and I got to keep my "home"
neck-so now I can annoy it some more. I like ALL Bass playing. I was "raised"
as a metal player in the days of Bob Daisley, and Steve Harris. These days
I enjoy it all from metal/funk thru electronica, to blues (with/without
rythm),Les Claypool is cool, so is Geddy and I will always have time for
Michael Anthony and his "players". I think there are only two types of
music GOOD and BAD. Talk to me I guarantee a response...I have many questions
too, eg. How many of you have Bass Tattoos? I have a Bass Clef on my shoulder..I
would really be interested to hear of any others out there!

I play a Fender Jazz 5 string
bass and is using a Trace Elliot msx 1210 300watt amplifier. I have been
playing for many years without beeing serious, but for the last 8 years
i have been using a lot of time on rehearsing and playing gigs. For now
i`m playing in 3 different bands, one is rock, pop and blues, one is country
rock, blues and music from the 60`s, the last one is cabaret music with
songs from a danish composer called Kai Normann Andersen. I also play a
